JUNE was POWER PACKED! No, but for real! CHOSEN really had service with NO POWER!!! Lights were out! Everything was OUT, but the POWER of Holy Spirit was IN THE HOUSE!

It was truly an incredible encounter with the KING. God does some of His best work in the dark. 🙌🏾 Souls were added to the Kingdom and we also added 8 new partners to TCC! Pastor stated, “Crazy how sometimes God will cut your live stream OFF! No lights, no camera, JUST HIM AND YOU!”

That is sooooooo TRUE! Those face to face encounters with God is something that, until you experience it, you’ll never understand the depths of it! A DIVINE BLESSING!

Before we get into the MESSAGE for the MONTH, let’s go ahead and highlight some of the things that took place in June!

We spotlighted:

• Men Mental Health Awareness Week! Our Health and Wellness Ministry gave insight about ways to take care of your temple as well as statistics and quick facts about the topic!
• Our Worship Pastor Released His First Single! Man is it a BLESSING! Go LISTEN! It took me up, yawl! OOTW!!!
• Our very own Partner, Alvin Thompson, was the keynote speaker of the WE THE FATHERS OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY BANQUET!
• We had a really great Father’s Day service and they were blessed with gifts they would actually enjoy! It wasn’t the ordinary gifts they were tired of receiving! LOL! They were grateful nonetheless for the gifts they usually get, but why not celebrate the Fathers the same way the Mothers are celebrated on Mother’s Day! I could have used the car cleaning kit, myself. Lol
• The Father’s had their Annual Father’s Day Breakfast and Cycle! The men road for 14 miles! The brotherhood bond is not to be taken lightly!
• We had our first Active Shooters Training with Clayton Police! Not only do we navigate through the spiritual aspects of a ministry, but we also make sure we are prepared in the natural just in case the enemy gets a little slick!

✨Kingdom or KingDUMB?✨

This may have been one of the longest series we had and it definitely blessed me!

Pastor spoke on how we are destroyed for lack of knowledge and then hit us with the BIGGEST ENEMY that we have, which is our MINDS! LISTEN!!! I can vouch for that for sure! The mind is the battlefield; only through Christ can we bring our minds into submission to the WORD OF GOD!

KingDUMB was expressed as being in the dark about what the Kingdom of God is!

Pastor came from a few scriptures in this series, but the one that I want to bring light to that we may all know is MATTHEW 6:33!

Seek First the Kingdom…

When we wake, what’s the first thing we do? When we are faced with a situation, who is the first person we run too? When we need to make a decision, how are we deciding to make that decision? Everything has to be FIRST about God!  I always say GOD OR NOTHING! GOD OVER EVERYTHING! Some say deep, I say wisdom when it comes to even seeking God on what food to eat and what place to go or where to park! Even those moments we may think is small, God thinks is BIG! We never know the plans of the enemy, but God knows well in advance so seeking God over those minor things we hardly think about could actually save us from a lot of heartache!

In this series, Pastor pointed out that being Kingdom, is doing Life, God’s Way! We need to recognize and understand the power that we possess! God is King of Kings and Lord of Lords and yet we choose to walk like we don’t know our TRUE IDENTITY! We walk around like peasants when we serve the GREATEST MAN of ALL TIME! We represent a KING yawl; THE KING!!! What does our representation speak of WHO God is, in a generation who has limited knowledge of HIM? For some, the only God they will ever come across is US!

✨What and who are people seeing when they come in contact with us?✨

Pastor spoke on keeping the main thing the main thing and knowing that when we worry, we can’t say that faith lives within us! FAITH OVER FEAR, is our theme for 2024 and these messages have already gotten us lined up, but are you a line leader and staying in alignment or trying to make your own line that doesn’t follow the flow of what God desires to show through us?

Our attitude matters! Kingdom Attitude is a THING! God’s Kingdom will never fall, so as we align and take on the mind of Christ then our attitude will speak and stand on that exact platform!

Often times we try to do things our own way, which moves us further away from the foundation of God! We can’t have it our way and God’s way at the same time! Our attitudes need to reflect exactly what claim!

When we claim CHRIST, then faith words should come forth from our mouths!

When we claim Christ, then our lifestyles should reflect the very same thing! We spoke of luggage in another blog and how those things hinder us from reflecting Christ! What is your lifestyle showcasing about WHO you say you serve?

Pastor threw Matthew 5 at us and when I say them BEATTITUDES were hitting tough…whew I meant that!

✨BLESSED FINANCIALLLY, BUT SPIRIT IS BANKRUPTED✨ Yep, our PASTOR said THAT!!! Money can’t fix everything! It can’t fix a nasty attitude or the depths of your heart as it pertains to God! As the scripture initiates, we gain the world, but lose our soul! The world will never give you the love that you need!

The question asked was: ✨Are you seeking to be like Jesus, or just wanting to be in the crowd?✨ It’s one thing to have a personal relationship with Christ that is deeper than the public and then it’s another when your praise and worship is only done in public! Who and what are you trying to prove? God knows the HEART! In the crowd, you’ll get what the crowd gets, BUT in the intimate and deep posture of intimacy with JESUS, you get so much more than what you were even expecting! Take me to Jesus even after the crowd disperses! 🙌🏾

This brings me BACK to #AfterSunday It’s about God, 7 days a week and not just ONE! We either gone do LIFE, God’s Way or we need to sit down! Trust me when I say, God will sit you down, especially when it comes to leading His Children astray! Get in ALIGNMENT and get in it NOW!

Kingdom Attitude has us focused on the MAN IN THE MIRROR!

Does your reflection mirror Jesus?
Is your attitude of the Kingdom?
Are you the Church?
Are you renewing mind daily to the Word of God?
Are you having Kingdom encounters with God?

We have to desperately depend on God! That’s Kingdom! You’ll never know WHO you are, until you know WHOSE you are! You have to get SICK of yourself and get your life in order! The only way to get it in order is by GETTING IN ORDER WITH GOD!
