PRAISE NOW‼️‼️
Hey Family! 💛🖤
In my time with God this week I had been listening to a song that says, ✨AND I’M NOT WAITING TIL THE MORNING! I WILL WORSHIP YOU RIGHT NOWWWW‼️✨ WHEW JESUS! 🙌🏾😭🩵
It’s our WORSHIP and PRAISE to God that sets the tone for our time before GOD! It’s our POSTURE before God that allows us to fully feast off of His Goodness! Whether He gives us a YES or a NO, HE DESERVES all of us! Not just the parts we feel open and secure about! The ones we are insecure about are the ones we need to toss on HIS ALTAR, more than anything!
The more we hold back that which belongs to God, the longer it will take for us to see the Manifestation of GOD in our lives!
The song says, ✨HE’S BEEN TOO GOOD TO HOLD MY PRAISE!✨
WE CAN’T WAIT for the PERFECT moments! WE CAN’T WAIT to just Praise God when things are tough because we expecting to get something that will benefit us! We have to Honor God, NOW! We sometimes get this thang backwards! When we need or want something from God, we will Honor Him, but when things don’t look favorable, we hold back because we can’t and don’t see what He is doing NOW! Worship is a LIFESTYLE! Not just when we feel GOOD! Those moments of stretching requires an even greater push and press before God so that we can remain in Alignment with Him so that we can stay moving with HOLY SPIRIT!
We have to dig deeper when we feel defeated and as if we are slipping! We can’t just wait til we SEE IT! Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen! (Hebrews 11:1) When we get what we desire from God, we still PRESS because we need to always operate with a spirit of humility where we know and understand that the things we have could have never been ours, had it not been for God!
It’s not about us! Zechariah says, NOT MIGHT OR STRENGTH, but by MY SPIRIT! The Tony Evans commentary says, that the strength wouldn’t be by mere human strength, but THROUGH the SUPERNATURAL EMPOWERING of the HOLY SPIRIT! Whew! Yes Jesus! 🙌🏾💛😭
Are we even activating the Holy Spirit in our lives?
We truly lack the necessary wisdom, if we think anything we have is a result of US! Scripture says, Humanly Speaking, It is Impossible, but with GOD, everything is POSSIBLE! (Matthew 19:26)
God is FAITHFUL and SOVEREIGN even NOW! 🙌🏾🩵 So our worship has to be ACTIVATED, NOW! Why wait? What you waiting for???
Whatever is blocking you from true Worship before, Bind that thang up, Repent and get your head back in the game! God has been too Good and has done sooooo much deliverance for us to be sitting back just playing these games! Today I’ll worship! Tomorrow I won’t because I didn’t get my way! I’ve had my share of stubborn moments and holding back from God because I was offended or in my feelings! Those times are over! Holding back worship from God only hinders us! Because God will continue to remain GOD, whether we acknowledge Him or not! 🤷🏾♀️ He’s more concerned about your soul than your feelings that are fickle and change daily!! 🙄
We want praise from those around us! We want our children and family to honor us! We want our way! It’s always about us and never about God! Does that even make sense when you look at it from another view? IT DOESN’T AT ALL! What if God held back from us, the way we hold back from Him? 😬 We can’t expect to receive praise on our jobs, in our homes, or with friends and family, when we aren’t even honoring and Praising GOD!
It should NEVER be about what we can get from God! It’s the face to face encounters with God that keeps us wanting more of God! It’s those moments of Worship, that God pours out into us! It’s those moments of us honoring Him that we begin to realize His nature and who He is! When you really get a taste for God. I mean a real taste, you wouldn’t even consider not giving Him what’s due to Him! Whew! 🙌🏾
It’s really about our HEART POSTURE before God! What’s in you will come out! Will it be the WORD? Will it be PRAISE? Or will it be the attitude cause you didn’t get what YOU wanted? 🤷🏾♀️
Oh the thing about God (that I’m learning) is that He wants to know what’s on our minds! He wants to know how we feel! Be honest with Him! That’s part of worship! But once you get all them feelings out, sit still and let Him minister back to you! Begin to listen for the voice of God! Those moments you don’t think God is listening, Trust me, HE IS! The issue lies in whether you’ve spent enough time with Him to know His VOICE! (John 10:4-5) That’s part of worship for me! That’s part of Praise for Me! Knowing God and His Voice! Those face to face daily encounters sitting at His Feet and Soaking it all up! Learn to sit still and LISTEN! I sometimes have to tell myself, “Girl Be Quiet!” Always talking and never listening! Whew!
Ask God how you are to navigate this season of Worship before Him and how to navigate this new normal of Total and Surrendered Praise before Him!
We are in this together! Don’t wait til later! PRAISE HIM NOW! 🙌🏾
