January (12 Days of Chosen)
Chosen! Chosen! Chosen! 🙌🏾 God has been a blessing to the ministry and it brings so much joy! I am so in awe of God and what He has done! As I went back to look at the videos, notes and encouragement for 2023, there were things that I had totally forgot that we had even received from the pulpit. To see how we have progressed is simply amazing! We started Bible study originally online. Ludlow Street was a blessing but y’all we were PACKED! Sardines Packed, but God STILL had His Way! That was God’s Expectation! 🤗 The overflow in the entry was filled with people! Even with the newness of the ministry, God allowed so much to go forth and allowed people to be changed and transformed!
We started the year with a 21 day fast and let me tell you, it was everything! The app was intense almost daily! The encouragement was overwhelmingly beautiful. People were fasting that had never fasted before! We had 24 hour prayer call and Pastor Asia prayed at the top of each hour according to the prayer watch and it was powerful! I tried to hang with her through the entire night! I was sleep, sleep at that 3am spot! 🥴🤷🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️😂 But it was powerful. Pastor Craig and Pastor Terry, did Monday night encouragement as we went through the fast! I remember being at Chipotle eating a veggie bowl with no cheese and no sour cream while listening in on the encouragement!

The message for Sundays in January was CATCH IT! Catch it! 👏🏾 Yessss! Pastor had fun throwing the sponge balls to people in the chairs! The messsge began from Habbakuk 2! He spoke on the vision and how people depict the good news and the bad news! He spoke of the heart posture and being aligned with the vision of God for the ministry!

God had made provision for the ministry and I believe God is well pleased with the intimate and intentional pursuit to develop our relationship with Him!

In diving back into the VISION and CATCH IT, we understood that God has given our Pastor a VISION and we decide whether or not we will catch on to the vision! The entire process of Chosen has been NEW to everyone! The way so many have caught onto the vision and still falling into alignment with what God has given Pastor Craig has been a sight to see!
Pastor spoke of being sober minded and alert, as in 1 Peter 5:8! The enemy seeks to devour and distract us from what God has placed for us to do! When we become on one accord, it helps us to keep a clear mind about what is happening and we have a united front against the enemy! When it comes to the vision and how God uses our Pastor, the vision has truly been coming to pass! From January until NOW, it’s evident of the true love and thirst that we, as a body, have for God!
Too many times we write our own vision, but has God been the one to give you the vision? We tend to do vision boards and such at the top of the year, but Catch It, helped us to see that we have to see what God wants from us and what He wants us to do! We have to see what God’s vision is for us, so that it’s not just impacting us, but impacting those that we are also connected too!
As we begin to close this year out:
* Let’s pray on the vision that God has given us for our personal homes and family, then submit that to God and get into proper alignment!
* Let’s reflect on our relationship with God and whether we are on board to Catch and grab hold to what He is doing on our lives!
✨what vision has God given you as you enter into 2024! Also reflect and see if the vision God has given you for 2023, has been pressed upon and see if that is the same vision you are to press into for 2024! It’s my sincere thoughts that God may not give you nothing more until you have done what He has already required of you to do! How can He give you more when you haven’t finished what He has already placed on your plate✨
* Let’s evaluate our level of servitude with the Ministry and whether we have caught on to the vision of Chosen? Have we been doing more private negative talk about the ministry and not enough serving? Have we been tithers and givers or simply always got our hands out? Are we showing up for Bible Studies, Events, Fellowships, Sunday Worship? Are we on time or are we entering in and making huge distractions?
Use the next few days to flow with the Spirit to see how and what you can implement into your life, to not just be there but to show up with a Heart ready to serve! Ready to serve the community!
Remember the vision and write it down! Run with it! Showcase it off! Make it loud for the Glory of God! We aren’t worshipping a church, but our worship is to God! The way we take care of what God has given us is a form of Worship to God!

I love this! It's so important to ask God what His vision for us is rather than us just coming up with our own. I truly believe that God has and is birthing something great through Pastor Craig in the Chosen Church. This is a God thing! Great January recap!

I am so honored to be a part of The Chosen Church family . God planted my Husband and I at Chosen to do His work! I love that Pastor C and the leadership team pray about everything before making decisions. The Chosen Church demonstrates sound doctrine and allows God’s perspective (His Word) to be seen and heard in all aspects of the ministry!! I love that Chosen accepts everyone the way they are , but push them to be what God called them to be. The theme for 2024 is, “Faith Over Fear!” I am super excited about the next phase of Chosen!! With a BOLD YES…….Faith over Fear here we come!!
