This brings us to SHIPS! Pastor did another series called SHIPS! I really love series! It allows us to dig more and more time for messages to marinate with us! There is so much depth in the series!
Who you’re connected with will determine your destiny! Pastor will say it often, “Who you’re connected to MATTERS!” There will be people secretly and people are BOLD now, so it’s not even a secret anymore, but they will be against you! WHO you’re connected to with either push you to transformation or push you backwards into the old person you used to be!
Being CONNECTED to the wrong FRIEND will DEPLETE! Whew Jesus! Let’s walk into 2024, letting go of those connections that are NO LONGER God ordained!
In our thoughts of friend, FIRST, let’s consider whether or not God can call us a FRIEND!!! Whew Lord! We put so much on people and expect them to show up a certain way, but can God Trust and Depend on you? Have you taken the time to build a stronger relationship with Christ! I’m often reminded of my Love Language and then I surrender my will to God’s to see if I’m giving HIM the same attention that I desire based on my LOVE LANGUAGE! My top one is QUALITY TIME! If I’m not giving God the time that is due to Him to show Him the depths of my love, how can I expect the others who I call friend or family to show up for me and give quality time! It’s not just about being there, but am I PRESENT when I meet God! Have I removed the noticeable distractions so I can give HIM my undivided attention??

Do an inventory of your SHIPS and see where you stand? See what kind of relationship you have with God?

Before spotlighting our main event of JULY, let me leave you with a statement made during the series: We have no time to water on things or people that are not benefitting us and helping us to grow deeper in Christ! God takes pleasure in cleansing us and He will send those divinely connected people to help push us greater into destiny and journey with us as we begin to HEAL, God’s way!

The community came out! We were able to give book bags, love, food, fun, and fellowship! We had vendors and the food was EVERYTHING! The kids enjoyed the foam pit and the water guns! We had a concert to get the youth up and moving!
We aren’t just a ministry that’s operating within the walls of our sanctuary! We desire to bring God to the community and God has blessed us with the means to be able to do that! When He gave the VISION, He also made PROVISION! 🙌🏾

That Sunday was YOUTH SERVICE and we had the pleasure of receiving a WORD from PASTOR JONATHAN HEARD!
Pastor Heard came from Luke 22:41-42; John 1: 11-13; Romans 12:2!!
His message was truly a blessing! He stated that our CALL IS TOO VALUABLE FOR US TO GIVE UP NOW!!! We tend to self sabotage ourselves and our purpose because we allow our mind to have full control of what we do and not do when it comes to submission to God! It’s in those uncomfortable moments that we MUST press into God even more! We must know that when we say YES to God, that the enemy is going to come RAGING! We must remain steadfast, no matter what!!
We limit ourselves based on what we take in our minds and what we allow within us! We have to get in ORDER with the Will of God! We continue to put ourselves back through the same torment that God despite red us out of! It will continue to stay that way, until we get into alignment with God and make HIS MIND, OUR MIND!
So as we end July, know that So much begins in our mind and we must renew our mind DAILY, with the word of God! We are too valuable to God and our call is too valuable for us to freely hand it over to the enemy!
