Finish Strong!
FINISH STRONG‼️‼️‼️💪🏾
No matter what comes against you or who stands in your way of accomplishing the task God has given you, YOU MUST FINISH IT WITH ALL YOU GOT! No matter the person or thing that is trying to hinder you, you can’t continue to allow it to block your progression!
Yesterday we talked about running our own race! When we focus on someone else’s lane of what they are doing or why they are doing it, it slows down the progression in our own lives and discouragement can set in. The momentum we had is gone because we weren’t paying attention to the things that were in our lane that needed to be fixed!
People may walk away, finances may get short, tears may be more than you desire, the love and lover that you thought was gonna be forever may not be in your best interest, but when you put forth the necessary effort God will finish... through YOU... what He started!
As a track athlete many and I mean MANY years ago, 😂 I noticed that when my focus wasn’t in front of me and I took any amount of time to turn around and look at my opponent, I couldn’t even see what was going on! I focused on one girl and didn’t realize that the girl on the other side was gaining a hedge over me! I lost sight of the entire race and in those moments I didn’t even have the stamina to win a race that I knew without a shadow of doubt I was destined to win! I finished because I never quit, but was it my best race? NOPE!
Strong finish, huh? That’s the thing, when we aren’t in our own lane and running our own race, we sometimes forget that the slimy snake satan is very cunning! What the Bible say…He comes in like a roaring lion, SEEKING…powerful and full of force! We get distracted by one thing and because we weren’t focused on finishing strong in our own lane, he got a lead over us and NOW we playing catch up!
Finishing Strong means focusing fully on God and despite the hurdles that have been placed in our paths, we know that without a shadow of doubt that God has us! Most coaches will tell you not to look back! Keep running! Keep going forward! Even in a relay! Don’t look back! Keep going forward!
God has placed people in our lives that are divinely connected! Those who are godly men and women, that we are to run the race with it! Allow Him to show you, who needs to be connected with you to finish the journey strong! Who you are connected with will have a direct impact on how strong you journey through this season of your life! Everybody isn’t out to destroy you and trip you up! I had to learn this and it has been so life giving! When you’re at the end and are ready to call it quits, they are right there ready to tap in to give the enemy a run for his money!
There’s a reason for EVERYTHING! Even when we don’t understand or know the depths of what’s going on around us we must give our all to the Glory of God! We must trust that there is PURPOSE in it all!
If we quit in the middle of a mission then everything that is attached to us will be aborted as well! Those who follow us or watch us will be at risk because we failed to follow through!
Now is not the time to give up, cave in or allow depression to overtake us! We can’t allow distractions of life blind us from seeing the move of God! We can mentally charge through the power of God or we can succumb to the worlds standards of living!
What we do today to accomplish the task before us matters greatly. God has given us all the provision we need to finish strong!

✨Will we trust God to keep moving forward even when the course doesn’t look like what we had expected?
✨Will we surrender our idea of “connections” with PEOPLE, to allow God to bless us with those we are to divinely do Kingdom Work With?
