What’s Our Gift to Him?

A few days ago I read a post on Facebook that mentioned, “It’s a beautiful feeling for someone to know me and gift me the perfect thing without me even telling them the perfect gift for me.” We are in one of the most expensive and most celebrated holidays of the year. We put a lot of focus and attention on the gifts that we give to others and especially to our children, while going broke. How often do we divert that same energy into what we should gift the ONE TRUE BEING who is supposed to be celebrated…JESUS??? Outside of a holiday, what gifts are we blessing God with on the daily? How are we showing our love and appreciation for Jesus?
 
I can honestly sense that God’s most appreciated love language could be that of Quality Time.  Thinking about the nature of Quality Time it goes hand in hand with embracing all of God in His Presence. You all spending quality and uninterrupted time in God’s Presence is a BEAUTIFUL gift that we can and should truly give to Him.
 
There are other things that also comes into play, such as, walking in obedience, moving in faith, and us loving God (Hunger and Thirst for Righteouness). But Guess What?!?!?!?! Those things that need to be birthed forth from you will come as a result of you spending time with God and giving of yourself. In getting to know God you will know how He walks, talks and listens. God has a special way that He embraces each of us and each time we make God a priority and give Him parts of Us, those moments become heightened. Ya’ll God desires TIME and that time is truly intimate. I absolutely Love it! In John 17:24, Jesus Speaks, “Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see the Glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began.” It’s just like Jesus to want us to experience the gift of His Glory with us in those moments that we are to gift Him. That’s Beautiful!!! 🙌🏾😭💛
 
Chosen Family?!?!?!? When it comes to gifts we want to make sure that what we are giving will bring much joy to the lives of those we are giving too, right?!? So wouldn’t it be amazing to do the same for Christ.
 
Giving Christ, YOU, is what HE desires. The moment you start to give of yourself, you’ll more than likely have many more fulfilling moments that will inspire you to stop and run just to spend time with God.
 
Scripture after Scripture speaks of being in God’s Presence and FIRST, giving yourself to God, just as He had wanted (2Cor. 5:8). Surrendering to God and Resisting the Devil (James 4:7) is giving of yourself to God. Matthew 6:33, says, “Seek First the Kingdom of God and all of His Righteousness, Above All Else.”
 
God desires so much for us to be ONE with Him. He desires us to throw off the old ways we are accustomed to…Repent and Turn from your Wicked ways. He desires for us to love others as HE loves us. He desires us to bring Him to the lost and hurting souls. The only way any of it to come to fruition is through our time spent with God through our SURRENDER. We have to give of ourselves to God. Sure it may be simpler ways to give and buy a gift that doesn’t take much effort, but the INTIMATE time you’re able to give to God is a GIFT with LASTING impressions.
